History
NUB3D s.l. was built in 1999 in Barcelona to meet a market need in the field of three-dimensional optical measurement. NUB3D develops, produces and distributes optical measurement systems. We also offer 3D digitizing services and act as consultants in project development. Passionated by the technology, Jorge Rodriguez and Fernando Campo became the founders of NUB3D. They met at the Polytechnic University of Catalunya where they handled several R&D projects. In 1999, seeing a gap in the industrial market, they decided to dissociate from the University and to create their own 3D digitizing solutions company together.Actually, the experience and knowledge they had been building up brought them to the development of a real product with the aim of answering the inspection needs of the production process.
| | In 2000, Voxes was launched representing the first 3D optical measuring system in the world which enables "in-line"inspection with a 100% analysis of the parts manufactured. During the last decades, Jorge and Fernando have been doing demonstrations of the product around the world, and thus creating strong relationships between them and the tehnology users. This helped them to improve the products and to identify the real industrial need of having a standard measurement system to support design phase. Therefore, TRIPLE system was launched in 2002 at the same time of the MML technology allowing the user to digitize pieces without any contact.
