CIEME has been held for eight successful editions since its first event in 2002. The former eight CIEME had a total of 429,000 sqm of exhibition area, where 20,732 exhibition booths were set up for 5.113 exhibitors, 1,572 among whom from 23 nations and regions.

CIEME, coming from the background of rejuvenation of the old Northeast old industrial bases, has gained a high trecognition from the national government agencies and strong response from both overseas and domestic manufacturing industry costumers. CIEME is the window not only for the world to know China, but also for China to enter to the  rest of the world.
