The photogrammetry system functions as portable 3D measurement points (CMM) and allows inspection and quality control in the same plant. As the system consists only of a camera can be easily moved to where the measurement should be done to avoid having to move the objects to the editing rooms or metrology laboratories.

The great advantage of photogrammetry systems is its ability to measure large objects while maintaining high accuracy in measurement, up to 15 ìm / m (VDI 2634).
Thus, this system can measure objects up to several meters in size such as airplane wings, rotor blades and hubs windmills or boogie train. Measuring principle
The system uses a high resolution camera for capturing data.
Should be placed "targets" at all points measured. Adapters are provided to measure different features such as holes, ridges or specific points of reference.
Subsequently, the object must be photographed from different angles and planes and in different directions. These images are then processed with the software management system.
The system automatically calculates the 3D coordinates of all points with "targets". The calculation is based on the principle of triangulation space of images (photogrammetry) and is fully automatic. Not required pre-calibrate the camera because the software uses a calibration process that works simultaneously with integrated data processing. |
