SIDIO NEO STAND-ALONE SCANNER
SIDIO NEO is NUB3D’s entry level sensor with 3D scanning technology specifically designed to meet the needs of SME’s in the various cycles of product development.
This low cost 3D scanner captures millions of points that describe the full geometry of the digitized parts and pieces. SIDIO NEO provides quality and value at a reasonable price, thereby making 3D scanning technology affordable for companies with smaller budgets.
The SIDIO NEO is an affordable, extremely robust sensor built on a carbon fiber structure, which provides high system stability. Although the calibration process is manual, you have the ability to configure the structured light 3d scanning system to a variety of working volumes. Additionally, all registration methods are available.
Delivered in an all-in-one box, the system can be stored quickly and transported easily to the measurement site.
A Single Camera – Having a one-camera system reduces the number of overlapping views and allows for a faster configuration of the measurement field.
MWL Technology – NUB3D’s Multi-wavelength technology ensures a strong and adjustable light source so you get the best digitizing results, regardless of the light conditions. While SIDIO systems are based on white light technology, they can easily be switched to color light technology.
EDR Technology – EDR TECHNOLOGY allows the capture of parts from black to shiny colors regardless light conditions and the need of use spray.
Expandable System – Expandable and easy configuration to the working volumes to digitize parts from few centimeters up to several meters. Only one lens needs to be changed.

NUB3D’s structured light 3D scanning systems are expandable to different fields of view depending on the part’s specification, allowing users to digitize parts from few centimeters up to several meters in size.
In order to make the system easy to use and to ensure that it’s stable, working volumes are built in carbon fiber and only one lens needs to be changed for calibrating the system and scanning different sized pieces.
The remote control connects wirelessly with the sensor, enabling you to take shots without having to go back and forth between the computer and the sensor.
Comfortable and easy to use, the wireless remote control is a solution that makes work even faster.
Standard Rack Case
This case is built with shock-resistant material for organized storage of the PC, keyboard and mouse.
The case has wheels so the equipment can be easily moved to the scanning location.
Utilizing the case’s integrated articulated arms and supports, you can extend the system monitor as well as the keyboard and mouse. Thus, both unpacking and equipment setup are made easier.
Travel Track Case
The travel rack is a more robust version of the standard rack case that is protected so that the system is not damaged during travel.
This case is highly recommended for transport via car, train or plane. It also provides added value for standard use as it protects the system from collisions and shaking.
This exclusive NUB3D 3D scanning technology converts the scanning process into a task that’s as simple as taking shots of the object with the SIDIO sensor. There is no need to prepare the piece in advance by adding fixed marks, such as stickers. The technology projects optical marks directly onto the piece so you can then merge or automatically record different views of the object. Furthermore, the MML system allows you to see the areas of the object that have been scanned in real time during shooting.
In addition to capturing the 3D data of scanned objects, SIDIO systems enable you to capture the object’s color.
Thanks to the integrated black and white camera, the color module can capture the colored data of every pixel that is digitized, whereas traditional color-enabled cameras only capture the color of 1 out of every 4 pixels.
Our color module ensures that the real color of the digitized part is captured in a highly-accurate way. This process takes place at the same time as the 3D shape is being captured, and thus does not require the hardware to be changed out.
Standard rotary tables can be used to automate the digitizing process on a single axis. Two different models are available:
– RT30 – A table diameter of 45 cm for parts up to 30 kg in weight
– RT150 – A table diameter of 80 cm for parts up to 150 kg in weight
